Sierra Leone Humanitarian Service Awards

Community Engagement and Involvement – PAPAYA
Lifeline and its partners continue to support pregnant women in accessing Antenatal Care (ANC). We are also continuing our aim to actively increase knowledge and community awareness concerning such issues as high blood pressure, preeclampsia and eclampsia, continuing to support pregnant women who are struggling with these problems. 2 Young Lives – 2YL
The 2YL team is currently preparing for a tour which is primarily a verification and recruitment drive, visiting each of the twelve communities which have already engaged with the program, and where it’s already been identified there are 9 or 12 underage pregnant girls who would form the next cohort of mentees.
Lifeline Nehemiah Home For Boys & Girls
Some of our Nehemiah Home boys and girls are currently continuing their preparations for the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) and Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE).
Lifeline Betteh Tumara Technical & Vocational Institute
Over 100 young people graduated with technical skills in Hospitality, Plumbing, ICT and Electrical Installation, many of whom having already secured regular employment before their graduation. Lifeline Nehemiah Schools
The Lifeline schools’ management team organised an outing for students in our Primary, Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary schools. The event took place at Grafton playground and recreational centre where over 500 students present with their parents and teachers all together had fun. Before the outing, the school administration conducted an insightful mental health awareness
