Lifeline Nehemiah Schools

This department serves children and young adults in the various Nursery, Primary, Junior Secondary (JSS) and Senior Secondary (SSS) school programs.
The Lifeline Nehemiah Junior Secondary Schools in Freetown and Punduru Village, Gorama Mende Chiefdom, have achieved remarkable results, with 98% of students performing exceptionally well in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), and two standout students achieving an aggregate score of 13, where the lowest aggregate score would be 20.
All 21 BECE candidates from the Punduru Village school, out of a possible 22 registered, passed with flying colours this year, notably Hendolo Moses Gbortu and Janneth Rogers who both achieved that impressive aggregate of 13.
According to the official results from the West African Examination Council (WAEC), the results indicated that all 21 candidates passed in eight subjects, with 19 candidates receiving credits in eight subjects and two candidates receiving credits in seven subjects.
Joseph Simeon Bundu, Principal of the Lifeline Punduru Village school, attributed this outstanding performance to the dedication of the school’s administration staff, the teachers, and the students, and he further emphasised that he had observed how the commitment and eagerness to learn has increased significantly in recent years.
Wilfred Joseph Sam, Principal of the Lifeline Junior Secondary School in Freetown, credited the success to hard work and continued dedication of his colleague on the staff and the students, with the backing of their parents, together with the co-operation and support of the entire Lifeline Nehemiah leadership team.
