LNP has been running a campaign to raise awareness within the school community on how to properly dispose their waste, thereby keeping the facilities clean. As part of the campaign, bins were provided at strategic locations in the compound and we are delighted to be able to say that this has resulted in a dramatic reduction in the amount of litter being dropped randomly around the site.
However, despite this success, the management team has realised that pedestrians using the main road through the compound, leading to the Kuntorloh Village, continue to drop their waste, undeterred. In an attempt to combat this, LNP has put up signboards educating people about the necessity of properly disposing their waste in the bins provided. This initiative is a pilot, which if successful we would hope to role out in the whole community.
